The bass player, songwriter and producer, Diogo Brown was born in the city of Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He started his career as a musician playing keyboard at the age of 9 and later turned to bass.
He studied at the Villa Lobos High School and at the Universtiy of Rio de Janeiro, being influenced by Funk, Jazz, Bossa, Choro, Latin and more. Diogo has played with Brazilian artists like: Cris Delano , Paulo Moura, Marcos Ariel, Banda Black Rio, Bebeto, Zeu Brito, Aleh, Zé Paulo Backer and in the US Diogo was invited to play with Sammy Figueroa , Felipe Lamoglia , Rose Max & Ramatis , Kenia , Brazilian Voices , George Tandy, Lanzallamas Monofonica, Age Garcia.
The Artist Pablo Cano, The Tap Dancer Katherine Kramer and others. Diogo also recorded the soundtracks for shows, jingles, commercials, Films,including "The Machine" by Joao Falcao, the Film about the soccer player " Ronaldinho gaucho", "The Little Prince the show ", and others. Diogo also taught Brazilian Rythms on Bass and on percussion, along with Dr.James at Florida Atlantic University (FAU), and at the Antonio Adolfo Brazilian Workshops, sharing his culture.
In 2007 Diogo released his first solo intrumental CD "Daqui Pro Mundo" (From Here To Around The World), At the Arturo Sandoval Jazz Club in Miami Florida USA. The CD features Great musicians like: Mike Orta, Oscar Salas, Gabriel Grossi, Jean Caze, James Mc Crevy and others. In 2009 , Diogo Recorded with artists like: Liset Alea, Richard Spring, Toty Viola, Lanzallamas Monofonica, Batuke Samba Funk and others.
