According to the magazine the seminal work of 'Davis' Kind of Blue' will be remembered a hundred years from now, as we do with the pieces of Mozart and the paintings of Picasso, for example. His work is an aesthetic that transcends time. It has been said and written much about the album, but this book by Richard Williams has something to add more to this masterpiece that took several hours to be recorded in 1959. The author not only focuses on the musical moment and meaning to his music, but also its relevance to the arts and literature. With this work, the author says that he 'had discovered a desire to change the landscape of life' and pursue a discussion on the topic within the musical work.
