Jazz Sinfônica e Richard Galliano



As part of the celebrations of the French Year in Brazil, Ibirapuera Auditorium welcomes the meeting between Richard Jazz Orchestra and Galliano. The concert features eight tracks written by Galliano, arranged by the musicians of the Symphony - Cintia Zanco, Fernando Correa, Marcelo Ghelfi, Mauricio de Souza, Newton Carneiro and assistant conductor Fabio Prado.

The program promises compositions as Galliano Laurita, Barbara, Opale Concerto - 3rd Movement, Fire Fou, Chat Pitre, Coloriage, Tango Pour Claude and Hinterland; Hermeto Paschoal, Baby, Claude Debussy, La Plus Que Lente. Galliano began studying piano and accordion with his father as a young, inspiring a new generation of accordionists. Traded Cannes Paris in 1973, where he still lives, performing and recording alongside names like Serge Reggiani, Charles Aznavour and Chet Backer. Next to Astor Piazzolla, built works that cross tango, jazz and musette, traditional dance to the sound of French accordion.
