MICHAEL HENDERSON’S ELECTRIC MILES
Ronnie Scott’s Recommends!
Performing music from “On The Corner”, “Agarta”, “Live-Evil”, and More! A club exclusive! Regarded as one of the foremost electric bassist of the fusion era his deep funky groove underlay the work of Miles Davis from the early 70s, starting with ‘A Tribute to Jack Johnson’ and continuing until trumpeter’s semi-retirement in 1976. In addition to Miles, he has played and recorded with Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, the Dramatics, Doctor John, and others. He is also considered to be one of the three greatest Motown bass guitarists, along with Bob Babbitt and his primary influence, James Jamerson.
