Chico Amaral Quarteto
In this tuesday, the mining tenorista Chico Amaral, if presents in the Marquis with its quarteto. Chico was one of solistas brilliants of the mining band directed by Schneider Maria in the Everything is Jazz of 2007. Its group is composed for Great Alexander (guitar), Pablo Souza (low) and Lincoln Cheib (battery).

Mixed Orchestra
The Mixed Orchestra, as the proper name says, is a diversified group great e, formed for 20 young musicians of Minas Gerais. Pertaining musicians to a new generation of instrumentistas, composers, arranjadores and singers. Front to this group is the musical direction of Mauro Rodrigues (photo), professor of the UFMG, teacher, flautista, composer and arranjador, that has acted as musician in important projects as “m blow of Brazil”, “Suíte Orixás” and “Maria Schneider Orchestra”. Its great experience as musician and musical director confers to the work of the Mixed Orchestra, maturity and conscience artistic, and conceptual, perceived clearly in its noise.
The group has a singular formation, therefore it mixes metals of the bands (trombone, trompete and saxofone) with wood of a symphonic orchestra (flute, oboé, clarineta), a trio of jazz (piano, low acoustic and battery) with a regional one of I cry (violões and percussion), a rock band (guitars and low electric) sing and it (three singers), beyond the percussiva diversity that unites the percussion of maracatu, of forró, the Cuban percussion and the keyboards of percussion (marimba and vibrafone).
