Worn out gold Not 24 - JAZZ IN PORTUGAL


Today we began to publish articles that gentily have been yielded by the Ground Gold publisher, fanzine dedicated to free unexpected music, sonorous art and the new coordinated, directed music and published in format paper and Internet by Chema Chacón. We initiate this activity with a remarkable test about the jazz in Portugal.
“This summer, in Lisbon, Rui Eduardo Paes invited to us that we knew the jazz in Portugal through its recent article in the Jazz.pt magazine. Its interest in which it appeared in WORN OUT GOLD took to us to extend this section with musical disc reviews and other encounter and discográficas Portuguese: Jazz member state August, Clean Feed, Creative Sources, proposals and next festivales and concerts in the country luso for the next dates. It has because a great section on Portuguese musicians written by our collaborators Nuno Catarino and Eduardo Chagas. The musician and Mexican writer Manuel Rocha Iturbide sent a text to us about electroacústica music once, he himself, has been in charge to compile pieces of sonorous artists of his ample country in a retrospective one of three CD´s. The text corresponds to the published libreto this same year in the seal Radar. Chema Chacón”
