Summer Jazz For String Players

This coming Summer, violin virtuoso Mark O'Connor will bring his renowned music camp to New York City for the first time. From July 27th through the 31st of 2009, he and his faculty will offer intensive training in jazz, classical, folk, and world music.
All events will take place a block from Lincoln Center, at the Society For Ethical Culture and the Ethical Culture Fieldston School. The camp is available to 150-200 students.
Also, keep your eyes open Mark's forthcoming jazz trio CD, Hot Swing! Live in New York, scheduled to be released in January 2009.
