Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey Tweaks Lineup

The Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey has recently announced changes to the band's lineup. Brian Haas and Josh Raymer will continue with the group, on keys and drums, respectively, while adding Chris Combs on lap steel and Matt Hayes on upright bass. Founding member of 15 years, Reed Mathis, left in early 2009 to explore other musical endeavors.
The quartet with its new core lineup will make its debut on Saturday, Jan. 10 at Kenny's Castaways as part of the 2009 NYC Winter Jazzfest. JFJO has a handful of dates in January before embarking on a West Coast tour in February.
