Five years old this year, the Gateshead Jazz Festival has become one of the most important jazz festivals in the UK. Hosted by the magnificent Sage venue this year’s fest takes place from 20-22 March and the line-up includes Joshua Redman, Guy Barker, Jazz Warriors Afropeans, Ian Shaw, Sheila Jordan, Cleveland Watkiss, The Final Terror, Trio VD, Tom Bancroft, Nik Bärtsch’s Ronin, Marcin Wasilewski Trio and Alan Barnes.
